This makes me feel very autistic but anyone else here gets irrationally angry at the way normies talk about pokemon

like for whatever reason they always brag about being the biggest fans ever right before accepting they only played gen1 and maybe 2, i wouldn't even be mad at them if they didn't always brag about their love for the series, like i barely know shit about digimon but you don't see me calling myself a digimon champion

luckily i've never seen it happen irl but it happens in any non pokemon website so often, youtube reccomended me this video titled "Pokemon" from a channel called "um actually" it's a show where "nerds" have to correct wrong statements and eachother to earn points in theory it should be fun to watch but not a single one of the contestants knew shit about pokemon and it was just very painful to watch, i am not linking it here but look it up if you want to die inside
