Why the fuck do people act like BW is some kind of masterpiece when its spritework is terrible, removed shit like following pokemon/secret base/autorun/berry farming that was in the DS games, objectively has less content than even XY, is the generation that innovated the series the least of every single gen, has the most linear and lazily designed region to date, and has a terrible story with the exception of one (1) character?

Literally the only thing it has going for it is the fact that it introduced the most Pokemon, and even that doesn’t mean much when many of the designs are so fucking bad like the copy/paste genies, copy/paste monkeys, copy/paste gears, etc.

Actually possible, yes. Flashcarts didn't show up until late '08/early '09, which is why Platinum is the most pirated DS games.

That's mostly a gen 4 feature so it being gone in character for GF.

Berry farming fucking sucked. You only got like 1-3 berries and would have to spend one of those to get more and wait a day for it to top it off. Time gated event were the most annoying part of those gens.
I didn't even like it that much myself, but Join Avenue was way more practical cause once you had the right shop set, you could just buy the berries.

Don't forget, if you didn't pick the berry during a certain window of time, it would fucking fall off and replant itself, and if you had used mulch, then the effect doesn't get applied to the new planting.

Trying to berry farm as a kid who had to spend 8 hours in school a day was fucking impossible.
