>>51324238Well with some characters it could work, like Brock or Misty, but others like Serena or Blue/Gary are literally different characters, so yeah, they are kinda fucked.
And they can't even pull the "You really look like a friend of mine, Blue!" refering to Gary because both are grandsons of Oak.
Its a weird situation, but as long as they dont fuck it up, its fine. I'd rather have it like this than be "explained" with alternate dimension shenanigans or some bullshit.
