I'm slightly ashamed to say, I never payed attention to Absol until gen 6, where I saw the Mega Absol
I decided to pick up Absol in Y and realized how cute and fluffy she looked in 3D, eventually getting the even bigger floof from Mega
what probably made it better though was the fact that she had Jolly Nature and Super Lucky, so pretty much the perfect set up and I never even realized until long after I finished the game
