do we need Frostbite status condition from Legends Arceus in Scarlet & Violet and removing the annoying freeze status condition?

Yes. Frostbite and Drowsy should replace Sleep and Freeze. That being said, GF will most likely not do so, given how much they refuse to change anything for the sake of tradition.

Just do it like poison if they get hit once by a move that would freeze frostbite instead on the second time you get a complete freeze.
