If you use Swords Dance and switch out while holding Spirit Lock, you keep your +2 Attack
Likewise if you lose -1 Attack from Intimidate, you'll keep the -1 Attack

After watching a lot of the vgc regionals and worlds, I think stats trend downwards and people switch to refresh them. Intimidate and parting shot may hold this back from becoming popular. Can't say anything for single battles. My question is, if you have a pokemon that uses this and baton pass into it, do they have both sets of buffs/nerfs?

Baton Pass returns is the only thing I could see. plus I can imagine a glitch getting through when taking both into account. Imagine if the Pokemon returned and both kept and passed the stat boosts

Now, if this was a double battle you could open with Malamar and a mon with Intimidate. Intimidate would lower Azumarill's attack so it could either switch out and stay gimped at -1, not switch out and try fighting without Belly Drum or use Belly Drum and walk right into Topsy Turvy.
