What are some traditions you try to follow when building a canon team in the games?
For me:
Starter based on who it makes the most sense for the rival to have, say Silver and Feraligatr.
Always try to incorporate the Psuedo-Legendary of the region.
Always try to fit an evil team 'Mon in the team as any 'Mon can be a good guy. Say, a Weezing in Kanto, or Camerupt and Sharpedo in ORAS
