Empoleon has ice breaker wings and a trident beak.
Diglett and Dugtrio have Pele's hair. That said, I'll at least give they could have had a little more overt motifs beyond the different mounds. Typing still fits.
Sandshrew has a harder shell, while Sandslash has ice pick claws. Another case where it could have been more obvious, but it still fits.
Lucario is the main questionable one here. It dies have the spikes, but I imagine that the main reasoning behind its typing was simply due to it being powerful. That said, there is something to be said about it having an iron spirit about it.
