How picky are you when it comes to stats and natures in casual playthroughs?

not at all. the main games are designed so that literal children can beat them, so fussing over stats or natures in that context is a waste of time

would maybe be cool if things like stats/natures actually impacted the pokemon's physical appearance, though

I typically avoid mons with a -attack or -special attack nature otherwise I don't care. Mons with low damage suffer every single turn, -defense is like half the time and -speed never matters

Only time I play casually is on first playthrough of a game, and in that context I don't care at all about natures/gender/etc. I just enjoy the ride.

I usually search for optimal natures and overall outstanding potential (28+ IVs), because I plan to carry over those teams to future installments. I've done so since gen 3 (transfering them, that is; caring about IVs is something I've only begun to do as recently as late gen 6 - early gen 7).

Depends how rare the pokemon is. If it's some regional bird that I'm guaranteed to encounter multiple times I'm fine being picky. But if you're a <5% encounter I'll power through

I pretty much only do nuzlockes in casual playthroughs, so getting worked up over natures that I can't do anything about feels like a waste of time.
