>>51338642Yes anon. That's totally how it works. Just add some gameboy roms to an online-only emulator and have technical magic sort it out :)
If you actually played Stadium you'd know how stupid that sounds. It'd require far more effort than that, effort neither GF nor TCPi would be willing to put in.
Also Gen 1 Mon are transferred to Bank and then from Bank to Home. Being in Home doesn't somehow mean they'd be compatible with an old N64 game, especially not one that reads save data from the cartridge, not individual Pokemon data. It's not like PBR where your boxes are just copied over and that's that. You'd basically have to remake Stadium in order to get what you're suggesting and we know TCPi isn't willing to do that, otherwise we'd have had a Stadium available through Nintendo's emulation services as far back as the Wii/Wii U. Hell the Wii U would have arguably been perfect for it.
>VC on both Wii U and 3DS>Could have had a special Stadium rom on the Wii U that wirelessly connects to the 3DS GB roms >Either requires periodic linking for data reading/writing or a constant connection, perhaps with a peripheral to charge the 3DS via a Wii U's USB ports to maintain the charge during gameplayToo little too late at this point anyway, most of us who give a shit about Stadium either still have our N64s, peripherals and carts or just use P64.
