So little embarrassing thing here. When the localized names started spreading, I was a bit upset when Hanamogura was called Blossomole. Cause it didn't look like a mole at all (mogura is Japanese for mole). So I looked up mogura to be certain and found the word mugura, which translates to "trailing plant". And for a while, I thought mogura was just a corruption of mugura.
I was wrong. Cause dumbass me didn't realize until much later upon a second look that the kanji for mogura is literally "earth dragon". And what does it evolve into? A damn dragon. Sorta. So that was a big egg on my face.
