Travel from region to region if it isn't fully open world. Low level Paras and Geodude no longer attacking you when you're level 80, abilities, more moves, more to do online, more useful trading, more mobility for your character, more stuff to find and do in the overworld, maybe some dungeons you can accidentally find.
