You're right, I much prefer VGC which allows a fun and a diverse meta with plenty of choice for every pokemon to shine in various tiers of powerlevel and types of matches.

like that's what's happening with gen 5 OU, it's such a shitty tier that most people drop it and the only people allegeable to vote for bans are those who enjoy the tier as it is. so the tier is very stagnant

I think a more fair comparison is Leftovers.
