The issue is that soupcell and his dev team have no idea about how to design a good game, so they put these cheats and alternative modes and just let you "play how you want" which is not making a game, it's making a soulless approximation of one.
If you can choose to remove and skip things in your game then why are they there? We're not talking about skipping cutscenes, we're talking about entire core mechanics that you can just nuke out of the game, that's not fucking QoL in any way shape or form.
For the record I beat RR in its default mode in 2.3, before the cheating crap was added, so I'm not opposed to playing on normal mode and ignoring minimal grinding. But just being able to get infinite rare candies by activating an in-game NPC? Come on now, that's retarded, it's going way beyond just removing IVs/EVs.
