I noticed that too. They need to improve the textures and/or lighting so Pokemon stop looking like they’re made of plastic.
Fortunately, it looks like some Pokemon in SV do have decent textures that look like fur or scales, which somewhat fixes the problem, but there’s still room for improvement.

Machoke's "speedo" isn't fur, it's just markings. A section of black isn't really comparable to fur designed as a hoodie and jeans. Jynx looks dumb, though. I agree with that

It is one of the less Pokemon looking design i have ever seen, for once it really looks like a Fakemon. I tried to like it because Poison is my favorite type but i can't, it is terrible. Remove the hoodie, the hair, the stupid gas mask and maybe it would be alright.
