Does anyone else dislike heavily "themed" pokemon with shitton of lore and explanation behind everything to them?

I like it when a Pokemon is just "big ass turtle with water cannons" or "giant swamp frog monster".
Make it look cool first and foremost then exposition dump some shit on me. If I need to read some paragraph to understand why the design is actually good all along, then the design was never good.
