Earning my little Zbadges. having my hand held and never being more than a stones throw away from the nearest city. It felt claustrophobic and suffocating.
I liked Alola and the pokemon enough, but I couldn't help but wish the game was set like 80 years in the past. Wilder, more dangerous, less civilized. With Kahunas and torches. vast rural routes. roughing it in paradise. Hoenn did the island region thing better. The vast parts of the map with no civilization were the best parts.
skipped SWSH but Legends Arceus is actually exactly what you're describing and I love it.
As for the topic of the thread, you zoomers need to stop blaming all your problems on "capitalism". The system IS screwing your generation but you need to get more specific. You've got a lot of shit to deal with and you will need to wisen up quick. I sympathize with you as a younger gen Y, buying a home seems impossible with the current prices. Cost of living is disproportionately high relative to wages. The urge to throw it all away and try communism again is so strong because your situation is genuinely dire, but you gotta grow up and stat getting responsible about what little money and political power you've got.
