I play randbats but I fucking hate randbats. Dynamax is so broken it's stupid. Worst mechanic ever. But yet I cannot stop playing randbats. It's addicting.

There used to be a version of gen 8 randbats without dynamax called "gen8randombattlenodmax" but I guess it got rotated out

It split the playerbase too much. Randbats is mostly played by casuals, and they don't understand why Dynamax is broken. That's why /vp/ is so assravaged that Dynamax is banned in standard play and Ubers.

It wouldn't be so bad if it didn't let you ignore half of the mechanics in the game
>Choice items no longer lock you into moves
>Can't get effected by contact moves or abilities
>Goes through Protect and variants
>Life Orb, Toxic, Burn, etc only deal half damage
>Immunity to Low Kick, Grass Knot, etc
>Immunity to Roar, Whirlwind, etc

It's such bullshit. So many clutch plays can just be ignored because you clicked a button.

I always try to save my game-enders for last because I want to enjoy the match before I steamroll my opponent. Xerneas, G-Moltres, Zacian, Kommo-o, Blastoise, Cloyster, Linoone, etc

sucks that they never made a gen 8 battle factory ladder, ive always like battle factory more than randbats mainly because you never get ratfucked by the lack of hazard control.
