the games *are* fun, if you don't know what you're doing at all.
I mean like, at all, at all. not even knowledge of whitney or brock shenanigans, or anything past a basic understanding of the rock-paper-scissors starter combo.
the pokemon games are only interesting for repeat playthroughs if you're dedicated because a lot of it is just introduction to this gen's meme mechanics + soap opera
