Most of my attention was focused on all the “cool old stuff” I got from my aunt, which consisted of at least 400 gen 1-2 cards. Then one of our neighbors moved away and gave us over 2k from his own personal collection from gens 1-5, but my parents threw out 3/4 of it because they were making everyone around the house physically ill. Probably moldy or something. My brother and I were unaffected for some reason, so I stole a quarter of the cards when they weren’t looking and kept them for myself.
Don’t care about them in modern day beyond getting a complete set of every gen 1-5 card if I feel like it when I’m older? Gen 1-2 at the very least, the card art is gorgeous and the old cgi is very very charming.
