this shit is insane considering there are literally wild dragonites in unova, it's also harder to take their goal of liberation seriously when they only know 150 or so of them

Also, the whole point of this scene is to build up to the twist that the tiny, seemingly unimportant stone was Zekrom/Reshiram. Why would you spell out “HEY THIS TINY THING IS THE LEGENDARY!” from the very beginning? Play the game.
Not to mention that of course the Plasma Grunts are idiots when the whole point is how easily people can be manipulated by one cult leader.
