Should I bother trying to complete contests as I progress in sapphire? I wanted to do so but after failing a few tries it's beginning to feel like it's impossible to actually strategize, I keep getting BTFO, I was literally winning by a lot till in the last round when a shroomish got me to leap in the air AND got the crowd going all at once just barely pulling a victory out of it's ass. Every other attempt hasn't even been so close and these are just the normal rank contests. I'll admit I barely fed my bro any pokeblocks but I wanted to hold off till I get better berries.
Basically I'm ready to rage quit but wanna know if there's some perfect sure-win strategy I don't know about because atm it seems like victory is random.
