Metal Powder and Quick Powder both work when Ditto is transformed. They now work like old Soul Dew. Metal Powder also increases SpD.

That's what they need to do. Can make them only equippable by Ditto too to make the programming easier.
Better yet, also make Metal work like Eviolite and Quick work like Choice Scarf... But without the drawbacks.

Wouldn't those be completely broken, though?
That would be fine if Ditto still needed to take a turn to transform, but now Ditto just becomes objectively better than any Pokemon it faces.

and making it a consumable. You don't get choice locked, sure, but if you switch out, you lose the boost, kind of like unburden.

I was referring specifically to moves and items tied to specific pokemon, like Chansey's Lucky Punch, or, in my example, Ditto's metal/quick powder.

That would be a cool buff but it should make sense too imo, like maybe his defenses go up by one stage since he's not ready to attack, or it goes away in one turn if he's below 50%
Or maybe stepping on spikes causes his fat ass to get it together immediately

Slow Start would be a perfectly fine ability if Gigas wasn't a legendary.
Slaking having Truant isn't complained about because it's a midgame evolution of a mon from the early game forest. It's a fair balance.
Regigigas is supposed to be powerful and it's sad to see it cucked so hard. Especially when it wouldn't even be that powerful with no ability.

It would be fine even if Gigas was a legendary, we have plenty of shitmon legendaries. The real problem stems from how much effort was required to get one. You had to do all of the Braille stuff in RSE, transfer the 3 Regis over, and then go to catch a severely underleveled Regigigas (I don't remember if the level 1 Gigas was Platinum-exclusive or not). It's so much work for something that sucks.

All of the Regis before gigas were kind of bad so it wasn't surprising, it's a shame because they're all cool
Honestly maybe they should just take away the attack drop, that'd be the simplest way to fix it

Turn them into Berserk + Beast Boost variant: boost the Pokémon's highest stat by 1 stage when its max HP is at 50% or lower. Still keeping the 50% power boost to the Grass/Fire/Water-type moves though. Some signature abilities have multiple effects on them, like Flower Veil and Water Bubble.

Run Away is already ridiculously good in single player.
The games are already so easy that you don't really need it but a 100% consistent get-out-of-jail-free card for any random encounter is a fantastic option in self-imposed challenges and challenge hacks.

I'd take it a step further. Instead of "forcing" you out after you take damaging, I would make it so that every attacking move gets the u-Turn property added. That way you have full agency over when you switch out. And given golisopod gets a powerful +2 priority stab and a lesser +1 priority stab it's pretty abusable too.
Since it has a massive attack stat it doesn't really need to rely on any boosts that would be lost if it switched out either. It would be a great momentum machine that could even tank a hit and then switch out if necessary.

RKS System now only changes the type matching the memory disc when Silvally uses multi-attack. So you can bring whatever type you want to battle and change it mid-battle on command.

Make Illuminate work like Intimidate, except for Evasion instead of Attack. Starmie now effectively has * 1.333 to Accuracy, meaning 100% accurate Hydro Pump and Meteor Beam, and 93% accurate Blizzard and Thunder.

The way the Powders initially worked felt like it was an oversight yet they decided to stick with the effect. It really is funny especially when Ditto got Imposter and they still didn't fix it. It's honestly a joke that the items didn't get culled unlike other Gen II held items like Berserk Gene
