They literally made an unskippable game, speedrunners cant crack it at all. This very fact is proof that ilca was the reason bdsp was so buggy

They don't struggle with it. They don't even try.
PLA is hard to speedrun because there's flags for everything so you can't progress even if you skip.
Most games don't try to speedrun-proof themselves, so they think:
>Oh, well they can't get to this area anyway, so there's no need for a flag.
Playtesters generally test the game to make sure casual players don't break it on accident, not to make sure hardcore players don't break it on purpose.

The real reason is that PLA has flags for every event and the only way to progress is by talking to NPCs that check for a specific flag.
