What’s a cool team made of pokemon from gen 1-4? I can just transfer from home and see if rushing thu the game with them is more fun

The only way I'd consider it is if I edit the encounter tables (and maybe the NPC trainers) so it has a better dex. Sadly it ran like shit and kept crashing when I tried it on Yuzu, so I won't bother.

I tried it again and got a little further. What can I say? I beat Platinum twice and the game is still fun but it doesn't really offer anything new to me.

BDSP are the first games I skipped. I even caved and bought SwSh for fucksake, but this? I'll fucking pass. I still have my OG copy of platinum. I mean damn, I'd unironically rather play the OG DP over BDSP. At least those games have nice graphics and don't make it woefully impossible to not overlevel, plus they feel cohesive, like they were clearly designed with the DS in mind with every aspect, and it all kinda ties together nicely which I tend to really appreciate. BDSP feels fucking frankensteined by comparison, moreso than even ORAS which I now feel I took for granted

... You did buy SwSh though huh... But well, I guess you couldn't know just how shit it would be beforehand. Thank god I didn't have a Switch yet when they released, or I might have been in the same situation as you (though honestly even pre-release SwSh didn't interest me in the slightest.)

Definitely regret buying shield, i never even finished it, got to the dragon city and just gave up.
