>>51389468 Yeah, I just started playing Stories 2 again and I already remember what you mean about the eggs. Though at least you can fight certain monsters for a chance at making them retreat for their eggs. And the combat is pretty fun so that's a massive saving grace.
Also, same on the endgame content thing. I've only played Stories 2, and while it sucks that whatever monsters you use in the early game will apparently always be weaker than the versions of them you can farm for in the postgame, I'm still happier knowing I can channel monsties before the postgame, apparently unlike the first one?

For that matter, I almost added Ark to my list of best not-Pokemon games, but the combat is super basic and nothing like the JRPG style of Pokemon so I decided it doesn't really fit.
