Also, the last gen having all the pokémon to-date in the cardridge (Except of those dumb Ultra exclusives)

Sun/Moon were good gens, they needed more devs or dev time to be great which is obvious from all the cut areas. Instead of imporving, GF just opted to cut even more content from the start
