its impossible for counterparts to be equally liked, gf of course knows that. they just design whatever they want and whichever is more popular gets more shilling. thought that was pretty clear with zacian, zamazenta and the stars weve had since time immemorial

You could say the same about these two, of course people would like the dopey apple pie dragon dog more, though, Slowbro and Slowking are pretty equal so I guess it's possible to design something more even without being too similar. Despite that though Slowbro still is the most popular but it has gen 1 advantage
