This thread is making me feel fucking insane, people have AGGRESSIVELY defended Gamefreak lacking extremely basic features standard in other JRPGs like difficulty settings, cutscene skip, multiple save files, voiced cutscenes, ways to manage your own experience, and so on. And then suddenly they add one (1) feature you can find in other games and now I'm seeing posts like

But okay, okay, let's keep up this fucking energy then! Let's get cutscene skip and voiced cutscenes and multiple saves and your party following you in the overworld being the standard and not a goddamn gimmick to drive sales. Except you won't ask for these things and I know why.
Pokemon fans are the definition of sheep, their default state is defending Gamefreak, if there's a game that doesn't have a feature people want, it was never actually important and you're an entitled shitbaby manchild for wanting it--but if Gamefreak DOES add a feature, it's actually the best shit ever, why would they NOT add it? It's basic to other JRPGs after all! Ignore how it took them 4 Switch games to get a minimap or how PLA's lack of a minimap was also defended by fans, Gamefreak added a minimap NOW so anyone who didn't want one, or anyone who thinks they should've added it sooner is retarded (because minimaps weren't actually needed until GF added one).
You people are in this perpetual state of doublethink and have no actual standpoints or opinions of your own, you'll just say whatever you need to to make the bad guys bullying the fun Pikachu game go away.
