In case a Pokemon is not from the correct type it has attacks from that Type. Last Pokemon is the Ace (I wanted the Ace not be repetetive with another Trainer's Ace):-)
The most interesting example is Volo whose all Pokemon know Outrage. What is interesting H-Goodra and Garchomp do not share a single weakness:-)
As per Ingo I wanted him to mostly have Space-Time disturbtion Pokemon, excluding Basculegion who is a nod to his Unova heritage, the fact he use an Alpha one in one of the rematches and also I find it quite fitting for him to has an evoluton of a Pokemon which had 2 forms in Unova and now only has 1 and also evolves by lossing it's comrates (I find it really fitting with the fact Ingo no longer has Emmet with him). Also Basculegion just like Ingo's Chandelure is a Ghost Type.
I know people are surprised with Gaeric not being an Ice-type Specialist but Rock instead but I wanted to include the Miss Fortune Sisters and Clover could've been either Grass or Ice so I decided to go with Ice for her.
As per Charm I wanted to give a Pokemon with both Ghost and Ground/Rock traits and Spiritomb seems to work the best. It also works nice with her name:-)
What I'm mostly proud of it that I basically used all fully-evolved non-Legendary/Mythical excluding the Starters which is quite awesome:-)
I decided to add each specialist a Legendary so each fight could be similar to vs Volo.
Volo gets a Draco Plate Arceus who later leaves him and joins Ingo holding the Legend plate.
I tried to give each Specialist either a Legendary of their type or at least knowing some attack from the type (with Legends limited movepools there were some hard choices like Phione with Acid Armor, Mesprit with Ice punch, Uxie with Drain Punch, Palkia with Ancientpower and Power Gem.
Sadly there was no one else to give to Lian an Uxie but it's Brainiac theme suits Lian quite nice. I know it's a bit controversial but I think it's fun at the same time:-)
