>>51436540Only famines I know of are of the food kind, anon. I'm not terminally involved in this community, I'm just an adult who can understand the business aspect of why Ash would never be removed. If you've been watching the anime as long as I have, it's not hard to see. It's also why I don't have a personal stake in this shit, I just enjoy watching along with fellow autists in padt and shitposting at characterfags.
>Then why the fuck are more and more OS-plots getting rehashed in the latest series? Please watch more TV. Or are you so unable to comprehend business practices and the passage of time that you really need to ask this?
On the off-chance the answer to that is yes though, that's not at all uncommon in a series like Pokemon. When your animated show goes on long enough (see Simpsons, Spongebob, Family Guy) you will inevitably have a different writing crew to what you started out with who aren't going to remember old plot threads or just won't care for them. They'll happily rehash a plot or concept that's been done to get that payslip at the end of the week/month/whatever.
I couldn't tell you the amount of times I'd walked in on family watching a new episode of The Simpsons and was blasted by deja vu because of the episode's plot and sure enough, could find an additional episode or two with more or less the same story beats.
I'm assuming you're young here, but from an older person to a younger one, it's not going to get better, anon. These properties are only going to become increasingly money oriented and abandon what made them good. Give up hope, if only for your own sanity.
