Also I love how rentalcels act like you immediately import a super optimized, stat maxed team with perfect movesets. The amount of work required to put a team together for each of the different rulesets is absurd, to the point most people are not going to run teams anywhere near optimal. Some movesets require trading back and forth between RBY and GSC, it takes over 500k pokedollars to vitamin ONE Pokemon fully and vitamins only take you halfway through, the rest takes many many MANY runs grinding the E4 (in case you want level 100 for the Prime Cup, or mass genociding Unowns for the Poke Cup that requires you to stay under level 50-55 and that takes much much longer than even the E4 grind). Oh and you DO clone TMs right anon? Most TMs in the game are one per entire save files, so if you don't clone enjoying doing another GSC playthrough from start to finish just to get an Earthquake TM, TM breeding aside.
tl;dr: shit is grindy as all living fuck to a level that nu-Pokemon fans can't even dream of. No one except game shark users was running optimized teams back in the day.
