The real shame was the fanbase's reaction to Lumiose City.
it's fucking great, I love the little alleys and redundant amount of cafes, and I really liked that you can genuinely feel lost in it.
But everyone just bitched that it was too confusing.

The main problem with Lumiose City wasn't that it was huge, it was the godawful camera that had that terrible delay when turning your character for some reason. I don't know how they fucked it up that badly.
