Let's be real, most people who watch anime, watch age-appropriate anime, you cunts watch a kodomo and cry it's not catering to oldfag adult fans who watched it as kids 20 years ago. That's the key difference. Personally, I don't really give a shit for anime, as nothing connects with me (hazards of making them for either japanese audiences or weebs, I'm neither so it don't work on me) and animation production quality has dropped worldwide since CG animation started taking over (vicious circle, cunts that used to do proper animation can't compete with cheap'n'shitty animation, so they HAD to move to cheap'n'shitty to stay relevant).
