Why do people consider this a regional fake and not regional variant? Why is everyone always so autistic when it comes to Legendary/Mythical Pokémon ?

It doesn't matter if the Kanto birds are one of a kind or not.
Canonically, the Galarian birds have no relation to them, they merely resemble them and were mistaken as the same Pokemon so they were never given separate names.

This, the game makes a clear distinction by specifically stating that there's no proof that they're actually Galarian variants of the legendary birds. They're named as such because their resemblance to the legendary birds is basically the only thing anyone knows about them.

The Galarian birds apparently have no relation to the Kantonese birds and look similar by pure coincidence.

There is also no proof that they are completely unrelated, the resemblance thing is just an inlore theory. There hasnt been enough research on them yet. We need to see what "regional fakes" actually are first before we can make that conclusion. I think the shiny forms are pretty clear indication that they are related in some way

Yeah, but the way proof works is that you have to present evidence towards a claim. A lack of evidence against a claim is not the same as evidence towards that claim. You could say there's no proof that I ain't God, but you don't see me on the street trying to perform miracles. This is first-year college info, man. It's not hard.
