Is this one of the only gens where we saw powernerf instead of power creep? I know the average BST is higher in GS, but the rarity mechanic makes the distribution of pokemon weaker and a lot of the busted moves and glitch mechanics that made some of the better pokemon great in RB were made less accessible or crystal only.
I like how GS makes you use more shitmons and keeps the good mons rarity hidden and it makes the in game stuff better balanced. I think most of the balance issues people have are related to the fact that GS is a bitch to nuzlocke due to the level caps unless you are going out of your way to exploit a dupe clause
