Why do SV characters little to no fanart? SWSH got thousands of art months before release, SV is two months away and none of the characters have even 500 pieces of art made for them

While the Pokemon designs were bad, the SWSH character designs were actually decent. The SV character designs are just bad. They are either trying too hard to be cool or trying to hard to be fujobait.

people got tired, plain and simple, there's no point in making art of a character and generating hype for yourself and others if in the end the game won't even come close to delivering and the character itself will be forgotten because the game was such shit: case in point, do any of you remember the Lass trainer in the original SWSH trailer that got a fuckton of fanart during the heydays before Dexit? But both her japanese (メロコ Meloco) and spanish (Melo) name are based in Melocoton (a type of Peach)

I don't understand why in English they confused the fruit

Perhaps it is due to the Latin name of the peach, Malus cotonus "cotton apple"
