There's no arguing that the DS remakes aren't a better overall product against their predecessors even when they don't technically fix all the mechanic issues from the original because in every capacity genwuncels subconsciously know they are, and that's not a very high bar to surpass.
These fags hate the Gen 3 and Gen 5 attempts at reboot because at the same time that both eliminated the nostalgic element they had for the games, it also embraced the JRPG roots of the franchise in a more inventive way, stuff like the Regi puzzle wouldn't be possible in the Game Boy era because it's too complicated and engaging, defeating the purpose of a simple babby game to sell during the season. All that complaining about "pokemon designs becoming uglier and simpler" is just huge fucking biased cherrypicking, ain't no way that designs like Garbodor's are any worse than shit like Exeggcute and Diglett.
