long answer: as miserable as her life is i can guarantee you there's even more miserable emotionally stunted men who will look at that ignoring the massive red flags and say "this is my chance" then maybe if she gets drunk someday she'll look at her dms and pick whatever guy has more money and that will be the start of an even more horrible story for both of them
i like to think maybe in a world where all men just have self esteem and self respect women like her get their shit together instead of just running to the next guy in line and everyone has overall happier lives
