Everytime I want to replay a pokemon game I dread to sit through the slow fucking text crawl and first half of the game which is all tutorial. I'd prefer Morrowind's wiki-style dialogue pages than this shit.

Why zoomers pretend this is true? I can sit and watch a show fully, or play an old game fully. Meanwhile zooms need SPEED and quick shit happening all the time or they want to kill themselves "because they get bored".

Even the stadium games gave you the option to up the speed.
The bike exists specifically because certain speeds are just too slow to enjoy.

It’s not some insane thing to want more speed from these games especially considering how much repetition is in it.

Zoomer here, I've never sped up a game. I thought it was mostly nuzlockers/challenge run players who reset a lot who did that so they could avoid the monotony of repeating the same dialogue, trainers, and route over and over again. Personally I wouldn't like it if the game was sped up, espccially if it's a new area

Better yet, they could just make the games run at a speed that doesn't require playing at 3× speed to be tolerable. Even as far back as Gen 1, they should have looked at the bike and thought "why not just make the player character's normal movement speed faster?"
