She's not even in the tournament, the Pokemon World Championships only has characters from the first 8 regions (except Alola, which is represented by Ash as its Champion) competing.

I'm kinda expecting this as well, she will win by simply dabbing on type match ups with Terastal, something like turning a mon to Ground to null Pikachu's Z-move and then while everyone is puzzled she just KOs the rat and tells everyone about Paldea's special gimmick

Kukui wasn't in the Pokémon League in Alola either, it was an extra match against the Alola Pokémon League Champion to choose the regional champion. Geeta can still fight whoever becomes the Masters 8 Champion.

No, it was just an exhibition match. An exhibition match with the Masked Royal was the prize for winning and becoming Champion, Kukui just ended up battling Ash as himself instead of because of his identity getting exposed.

It took Journeys a while to do anything Galar-related. It'll probably be the same with Paldea now that the anime is no longer tied to the games and free to do its own thing.
