>>51501695Platinum honestly fixed nearly every problem I had/have with Diamond/Pearl, including speed. It's mainly the little things, but those little things add up over a playthrough. Minor stuff like the surf speed being higher, not dismounting the bike going through gates, and that little half a second hang at the end of a turn during battle are gone. With all the little improvements Platinum has, the only reason whatsoever you could possibly have to replay either DS Diamond or Pearl is if you really really REALLY want to use Skuntank or Purugly on your team for some ungodly reason, but also don't want to play the Switch remakes.
