Megas are easily the worst of all 4, powercrept the game to retarded levels because only a few shillmons got it, and extremely boring gameplay wise because they're literally just the same thing as new Pokemon but with shittier designs and more broken than usual
Z-moves were an improvement because every Pokemon could use them which prevents the retarded amount of power creep Megas added
Dynamax was an improvement because it's not bound by items so it increases the skill ceiling of the battle itself instead of being more shit that's restricted to team building
Teras are an improvement because it's not item based like Dynamax but it's also not as extreme and snowbally
