The 2nd is right after a heal room and when you're expecting a boss anyway so you'd likely still be healed. So really just one. All the rest of the encounters are near the beginning of a route or when you're healed

>Route 22
>Nugget Bridge
>Pokemon Tower
>Route 22 again
If you're not healed for these, that's your own fault

Most kids played the game kind of recklessly, having to learn to save before fights or heal, so it gave the impression that Blue was placed in inconvenient areas

I hate the new rivals because they're annoying in a "no I am not your friend, leave me alone" sort of way. Every other RPG has likable characters but Pokemon's characters are so one note it's annoying. Only reason why I like Blue is because he acts more realistic, he's both snarky and a little spoiled, then he goes from jealous to being a total bro.

It's a pretty good thing that Pokemon didn't give you a game over, otherwise I would've been angry after Blue would show up at nugget bridge. I always thought It was bad game design when RPG's were like "oh you lost a fight! Hope you saved recently otherwise your night is ruined! :D"

im looking for a rival that gives me a reason, purpose or whatever to fight him, one rival that feels like i actually have a rivalry with, im not really looking for just a rival to hate, and i dont want rivals that make me feel like absolute dogshit for winning againt them

One of Ghetsis ninjas return it but now it is a bigger cat, cat hates Hugh, Hugh spends 2 seasons of ingame time trying to heal the cat, by the third season sister says cat is fine now

Hugh became the cat whisperer by the end of his adventures, he also has a Flygon now if you rematch him
