All the changes made to the story were mostly to the detriment of it and its characters. Both in big ways, like cutting out many of the Lillie scenes that were what made her arc work or the Lusamine just deciding she has to be the one to take down Necrozma for some unexplained reason, but even minor ways like how it wrote Lana's trial.
