You know for all the shit that Gen 1 gets from people for having special treatment, there are still quite a few Pokemon from Kanto that are pretty much forgotten relics at this point. Pic definitely related. For every Charizard, Pikachu or Gengar, there's a Drowzee, Dewgong or Oddish. I think the only thing a lot of those Pokemon have going for them is that they are from generation 1 and so they get the nostalgia bonus, but they never appear in anything and each passing year it's less likely they're going to be used for anything. This isn't to say that other generations don't have forgotten Pokemon, but Generation 1 definitely has a fair share as well
