But after BDSP, I have to give credit to ORAS for actually putting in SOME effort to update the game to modern standards and provide an experience which was the perfect mix of nostalgic and refreshing.

HGSS is still the golden standard for remakes, but ORAS gets way more hate than it deserves. There were some small stumbles here and there but I'd say the majority of the region was remastered wonderfully.
