I'm not gonna call it shit, but they played it ridiculously safe with its design, and a lot of its popularity feels like it stems moreso from being competitively powerful and having a leading role in the anime as opposed to being organically well-liked by fans

I like it, but I hate the combo of thick arms and stubby hands.
