Transfers from HOME to SV aren't going to be broken and egg moves won't be wiped with no way to relearn them, RIGHT??

I would hope they figure out that they don't need to change egg move lists and allow for egg moves to be maintained from SwSh to SV...
But this is GameFreak.
So.... Egg moves will forever be limited to the game that you're currently playing.

What the fuck is this shit? I don't want to re-breed the Crobat. Fuck you Nintendo, this better not happen when I transfer it into SV. And yes I blame Nintendo for this shit as well not just Gamefreak, for not keeping them in check.

wasn't this just for BDSP because they wrote it in a language that complicates compatibilty

not sure what the full story is, everything involving HOME sounds like a mess. they had perfect backwards compatibilty for 20 years, idk what made them suddenly fuck it up

Yeah and it also happened with my Rapidash and it's Hypnosis. Transferred it into SWSH to level up easier and got wiped. Transferred it back and just trying to hope for the best come SV. Transferring into BDSP is such a bitch too since the TMs are extremely finite and all your Pokemon moves are completely reset into shit moves.

its also a precaution that was put in place thanks to BDSP being exploited to hell causing pokemon with illegal moves to be made
my curse hitmonchan from gold goes to Sw/Sh fine, but if I try to send to BDSP it warns me that if I do all moves will be reset

That's true, but the main worry is that it won't apply once transferred into SV and Egg Moves will wiped forcing you to re-breed/waste your time, given the current track record.

No what I am saying is they are done having to tread on eggshells with everything they add to the game because some 20 years backwards compatible moveset might break something. You still can't get a hidden ability>normal ability change because of fissure machamps with no guard, they are putting their foot down and saying no more transfer movesets no more 20 year old exclusive moves that turned out to be a balance mistake.

that could easily be fixed by making all gen 1 machamps have their HA, or just adding in a rule for competitive that prevents using those. Breaking the entire transfer system that's been running for decades is the worst possible solution to the issue

This was discussed to death when Home compatibility with bdsp and pla released.
Now, each mon has a moveset for each game instead of a single one that's common among all games.
It fucked up a lot of my previous runbros in bdsp.
