Florian might grow on me after 2 years, but the reason why it takes so long too is because you customize the protag as soon you can and forget about their original look. Now especially with SV since we'll be able to change their eye shape/style for the first ever. Also didn't notice how much better Florian looks in the darker uniform.

That's because midway through the gens they realized guys play as girls and fujos and homos play as guys. So later male characters we're made to appeal more to fujos/homos.
